The Vesivirus 2117, apparently does not cause human infectionh but interrupts the growt h of cells that are used to make Aldurazyme — a treatment for MPS I, a rare and fatal diseasre caused by an enzyme deficiencgy — was last filled at the Genzyme facility in Septembert 2008, according to BioMarin (NASDAQ: BMRN).
