Yogurt franchise Red Manglo has signed a developmentg agreement with RamiroValadez III. The local businessman planse to open six stores in the greatere SanAntonio area. Store No. 1 is set to open in the firsyt week of June at QuarryVillagw — a residential/retail development in North Centrak San Antonio. Come 2010, the plan is to get two more Red Manglo stores upand running, Valadexz says. Valadez says he was attractee tothe tasty, health-conscious treat that is the core of Red Plus, the simple operations set up makes it an easiert concept to roll out in other parts of the city. Yogurt shopas are certainly not a new concept forSan Antonio.
Case in point is OrangeCup — a chainn from the Capital City that is currentlgy open for business at The Shops at La Cantera on theNorthwest Side. In fact, OrangeCup was recently honored witha “Hot Award during the 2009 Global Real Estate Convention (RECon) of the (ICSC).
